魅力的

1912年、フォレスト通りの曲がり道で、23歳のジョー・ジャーラスがラグーナ・ランバー社を創設し、彼と父親（葉巻製造手で、最初の郵便局長および不動産代理人）は現在の美しいフランス・ノルマンディー風の建物を建てました。木材置き場の開業前は、建築材料をラバに引かせたり、潮に乗せて浮かべたりして運ぶ必要があり、ラグーナ・ビーチの住人は300人にも満たない数でした。木材置き場の開業後、この地域はかつてない勢いで成長し、テントの町から繁華な都市へと変貌を遂げました。ラグーナ・ランバー社は73年間にわたり営業を続け、うち62年間はこの場所で営業していました。その建物は、第一次世界大戦中にジョーが海外へ出かけた経験から影響を受けており、町の美観に最も大きな影響を与えた建物の一つとなっています。このランドマークの影響で、ダウンタウンの多数の店舗の正面と、町中の家々が、土壁と瓦屋根がある半木骨造で美しく装飾されています。現在、384 Forestは現代的なアメリカンレストラン Lumberyardの出発点となっています。

Ally always gives exceptional service! It is the reason why we frequent lumberyard. Food is really good, but the ally’s service is supreme! In addition, the hostess Chelsea is wonderful, kind and she always tries her best to accommodate us. Well done lumberyard!

Ate here before a show at the Laguna Playhouse. Had the Beef Stroganoff and my wife had another Pasta - both were well prepared with fresh Pasta made in house. We had the Lumberyard Planks appetizer which I was concerned would be heavily fried, but they were light and extremely good. There was a band that was - for once - the perfect volume. The music was very good but on the quiet side that still allowed for conversation. Overall really enjoyed the restaurant.

I always enjoy The Lumberyard. I’m very biased towards their rotisserie chicken and have only tried a couple of other entrees. They were good, but I keep coming back for the chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots and broccolini. Ultimate comfort food! Last night my husband and I also indulged in the Ding Dong. It was such a treat!

The Lumberyard is our favorite restaurant in Laguna. Their salmon is the best I’ve ever tasted, anywhere! You must try it!

I ordered a salad with chicken and the chicken was way over cooked and dry but salad was good. Probably won’t go back!
