                    While we enjoyed the chef and his entertainment, we food the food to be disappointing. Our ahi tuna was extremely overcooked and tasteless. Even tough our reservation was for 6:30 pm, we had to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated.

                    This was far nicer than any of our recent dinners at Benihana’s. We will drive the little extra for this higher quality meal and the friendly service. Oscar was our table host. He did a very good job.

                    We love this place and have been many times. Great food and the hibachi chefs are so funny and entertaining. We love the cocktails that ooze smoke from dry ice and always try to arrive early to watch the bartender mix up our drinks.

                    I scheduled dinner here as we were in town for a business conference. I was looking for a fun place to take a group of 10 to dinner. Mikado was perfect! The food was great, our server Maria attentive to our needs and chef Manny talented, entertaining and fun. It was not an inexpensive meal but the quality of the food was impressive. I would definitely go again!

                    This is always one of my favorite places to come when in the Palm Springs area. The portions are huge-- you will not leave hungry . I recommend one of the combos-- filet mignon and shrimp, or lobster, but just filet mignon is great too because they give you a few shrimp as an appetizer anyway. I would stay away from the chicken. My husband ordered the filet mignon and chicken combo and said the chicken was tasteless even with the teriyaki sauce it was cooked in. I noticed other people who ordered chicken at our table left a lot on their plate.
