   Lovely place on a Friday night, not too busy, nice and quiet. Attentive waiter. Teriyaki skirt steak was the best I've had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and sauce was not too strong, did not interfere with the flavor of the steak. Loved the vegetable mix and the presentation.

   This is our go-to restaurant of choice. The manager, Jin, clearly knows the restaurant business and it is obvious the staff enjoy working with him. We feel like we are truly part of the Mistral family each and every time we dine there.

   Lovely restaurant. The food was good, the service was good too. Leaving one of their doors open on a cool evening was rather annoying. They did shut the door when asked.

   Excellent cocktails and food— the 3 of us all really enjoyed our entrees— rack of lamb, halibut ( both were specials) and scallops & prawns with risotto. I asked for my halibut to be switched out from saffron rice to risotto, which they happily did and it was scrumptious. We shared the dessert special of a modified “banana split” (very rare item for us to choose!) and it was delish! Ambience is lovely—festive yet tranquil, in that this place is tucked away in a corner or Redwood Shores, in a small mall next door to a dry-cleaners, but facing the lagoon/water!! — You would never find it unless you knew it was there. Service was good but for the one mistake they made, which they apologized for and corrected the bill! Will return again in the near future!

   I hadn't been here in a minute. I was happy to say the food and the service were as good as I remember. Manager was friendly, water was filled we were checked on. It was nice to change it up with lots of parking and a wonderful dinner

   The poached pear salad and the cocktails were the highlights. The surf and turf steak was grissly and the squash ravioli was over sweet with not enough contrast in flavors. The place is interesting and unassuming. It’s in a sort of business park and the view of any water is obstructed by a somewhat opaque plastic. The bar area looked fun and the service was very attentive and paced well.

   Starting off with a very sour Cosmo it kind of went downhill. I ordered a glass of cab instead. They charged me for BOTH when I got the bill! My Caesar salad was bland (not much dressing!) and lettuce was old! My beef bouguignon was warm but overcooked. Our bread pudding was the high light of the dinner! Our server was unsure of everything…maybe his first night? Will we return? Not sure!

    This is one of our favorite places for dinner but the steak we ordered was virtually raw and had to be reheated. The cut of the meat was tough when it returned to the table.
