Mon Ami Gabiはクラシックなフランスのビストロ＆ステーキハウスです。料理はすべてボリュームがあり、進化し続けるメニューには常に何か新しいものがあります。伝統的なメニューとして、温かいオニオンスープグラタン、グランメールスタイルのローストチキンのマッシュルーム、ベーコン、パールオニオン添えなどのクラシック料理のほか、特選料理のステックフリットを用意しています。料理のお供に80種以上のブティックフランスワインを、特製のローリングワインカートからグラスまたはボトルで提供しています。日曜はブランチを10:00～14:00まで用意しています。ミモザまたはモーニングコーヒーを、ロレーヌ風オムレツ、クロックムッシュ、クレームブリュレフレンチトーストなどのおいしい料理とともに楽しめます。ご注意：予約は室内の席のみ可能です。屋外のパティオ席の利用は先着順です。

Brought my husband for his birthday after seeing Zoo Lights and it was the perfect place, perfect meal, outstanding service by Michael. Everything was delish.

I think it would be impossible to ever give this restaurant a more than stellar review. We have been coming here for New Year's Eve Dinner for over 10 years for sure (maybe 15) along with visiting this restaurant once or twice a year outside of New Year's Eve and also have been eating here since at least 1999. It is, hands down, our favorite restaurant. We have never had a bad experience here, we have never had a mediocre experience here, we have only had a great experience here and the only other restaurant that we could say that about is the late, lamented Ambria. I wish we knew the name of our server because she was spectacular. Friendly, funny, and went above and beyond the call of duty. Neither of us could finish our entree so we asked for it to be boxed up and today, we noticed she took the time to write on the outside of the box what each one was. I had the French Onion Soup and you'd be a fool not to order it. It is hands down the best French Onion Soup I've had in my 62 years. I like how savory the broth is but here's a hint of sweetness as well. Loaded with onions and bread and so much baked cheese on top it's sinful. My partner had the escargot and you won't find it made any better anywhere else in Chicago. We each had Steak Frites, I had Classique and he had Au Poivre. Both cooked perfectly medium rare and I took my butter knife and spread the herbed butter on top an didn't realize I was cutting the steak with the butter knife, that's how tender it was. We had the dessert special, a chocolate cake with cocoa powder and chantilly cream on top that was so rich we could only have a few bites. It will be our dessert for at least the next two nights. We LOVE this restaurant and can't say enough good things about it.

Great place, great food, good service! I do not give 5 because our table was on a corner and the next table was very close and it became very hot and claustrophobic for the person between the wall and the table.

Fantastic experience all around. There is a small service charge they add to the bill that I’d gladly pay into even more IF it was going to the Staff (tips, healthcare, etc.). Otherwise, can’t wait for our next visit.

Fantastic. My wife felt like French and she loves it although she has not been in sometime and I never have. Drinks, food and service all exceptional! We are coming back for the duck and the apple pastry desert!

For many years, Mon Ami Gabi has been able to maintain a high quality dining experience - from friendly greeting at the door to excellent cocktails, food, service and ambience. I understand Lettuce uses anonymous guests to rate their restaurants. If this is true, it keeps everyone on best behavior and maintain restaurant quality. My only regret is that there are not specials of the day - expanding the main and starter options.
