When myself and guests arrived it was extremely busy with servers very busy also. As we were a bit early our table wasn’t yet ready but a chair was provided for me as I’m disabled and couldn’t stand for long. When we were seated at our table the serving staff were very attentive and explained how we could get our carvery. The meal itself was delicious with three different meats and a lovely choice of hot vegetables. The staff were extremely polite and attentive. I would highly recommend and will revisit again.

We travelled from mid-Somerset once again to enjoy one of our favourite places and lunch venue. The food was as good as ever, delicious fish soup and fish pie. Our only disappointment was that, while the staff were as efficient as always, there was no warmth or smiles when we arrived or when we were served. Feeling welcome is an essential element when we dicide whther to come back again.

Great food and atmosphere, friendly staff, it was a very cold day and snowing so it was a warm cosy welcome with the open fire burning

Had a lovely meal, food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and stylish. Will definitely be back.
