Our server, Lola, was attentive without being obtrusive. It was obvious that the entire service staff had been well coached. The food was excellent! We shared perfectly fried oysters for an appetizer. Some of the best I’ve ever had! I had the short rib and my wife had the redfish. Of course we had to share tastes. My short rib was great, but next time I’m going for the redfish. It was awesome! The manager, Tyler, came by to make sure all was good. The Wedge Salad was also impressive; it was fresh and crisp, complementing the main dish beautifully. I tried the Pork Chop, which was cooked well but a bit salty for my taste. It might be perfect for those who enjoy a stronger flavor profile. To top off the meal, I indulged in the Caramel Cheesecake. It was simply amazing—rich, creamy, and the caramel added a wonderful touch. Overall, I highly recommend Char for its great food and lovely atmosphere.
