Hostess and waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Food was tasty and lived up to expectations. McKinney is not our normal area. We were there only to meet “half way” for friends coming from far east DFW. Downtown McKinney is a thriving place and Sugarbacon is a great place to visit.

Foolproof spot for breakfast or brunch. Great service, selection and consistently great. Today was quieter (noise level) than usual so not sure if they installed acoustic panels but it was my only issue in the past but not today.

We’ve been here twice and found it depends on the visit. The restaurant was busier this time - about 1/3 full and getting busier. We had 8 people, (4 pm Tuesday), (3 people at noon the first time), so the second time we actually went in a couple days before to check with the person in charge of seating and he said he would have a place ready and wrote our details down. We got there and they were not ready for us at all. We waited for a setup, and he then put us together in a corner against a wall and counter on 2 sides, though 2/3 the restaurant was empty. We couldn’t get out, they couldn’t get around, and they were not expecting us it seemed. The place was too noisy to hear except for the person right next to us. The food was seasoned really well, but the steak for the fajitas was dry. The tacos on our first visit were outstanding. It is very new still, and it seems they are working out some things.
