On my visit, I began with an exquisite Rillettes de Porc with some off-menu toasted bread. I followed this with an indulgent Bœuf Bourguignon accompanied by a tangy Gratin Dauphinois and fresh Haricot Vert. The staff were an absolute delight—attentive, friendly, and passionate about their work. They were happy to make recommendations, explaining food combinations with detail and enthusiasm. Every interaction felt personal, adding an extra layer of warmth to my visit. The restaurant offered subtle touches of a French bistro, a cosy yet sophisticated charm. It's perfect for both intimate dinners and lively group get-togethers. It's not budget dining, but the quality of the food, impeccable service, and overall experience justify the cost. Lovely meals, however would have been 5 stars if the veg had been hot. Also we had the food brought to table but had to ask for cutlery. All that said it was still very nice and we would definitely go again.

Had a lovely with family lovely food and good service. Excellent value for money

The food was delicious and our waiter was friendly and welcoming. The menu is fairly limited but they have meat, fish and vegetarian items and appear to change the menu regularly. Cost is higher than average but you get what you pay for. Recommended.

I chose the chicken satay skewers. Sadly the chicken was burnt on the outside and very dry . The coconut and peanut dip tasted only of mayonnaise. The fries were okay. My partner had the suet pudding and mashed potatoes. He ate it all. We had a chocolate pud with vanilla ice cream. The chocolate cake was dry and the vanilla ice cream was grey and didn't taste of vanilla at all. Very disappointed. We have eaten out every night on the CtC and it's been really good but last night even though I was very hungry I left my food. So it wasn't good .
