restaurant was intimate with only 6 or 7 tables, so you have to make a booking. The food was very good, and I liked that the chef incorporated as much produce as they grow themselves into the dishes, which made them eclectic. The lamb was a little sparce for the price but tasty, nevertheless. The starters were amazing. And the wine list had a lot of interesting local wines from the west. But the standout was a 1995 high-end clean skin offering from Best's winery. Although not cheap, was an incredible, one-off find, and so worth it. Amazing! The wait staff were friendly and efficient too. The restaurant was intimate with only 6 or 7 tables, so you have to make a booking. The food was very good, and I liked that the chef incorporated as much produce as they grow themselves into the dishes, which made them eclectic. The lamb was a little sparce for the price but tasty, nevertheless. The starters were amazing. And the wine list had a lot of interesting local wines from the west. But the standout was a 1995 high-end clean skin offering from Best's winery. Although not cheap, was an incredible, one-off find, and so worth it. Amazing! The wait staff were friendly and efficient too. So, all in all, a really nice fine dining experience.
This is one of the best Italian Restaurants I have been to.
The tables, ambience, food an service were all exceptional.
We had to wait for our table to be available but it was well worth the wait.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Port Fairy and looking for a great dining experience.
