It’s very relaxed and there was a lovely anniversary card waiting for us when we arrived which we thought was incredibly thoughtful. The food was amazing from starters to dessert. We went for my wife's birthday, and she was offered a free glass of prosecco on arrival. 3 members of staff wished her a happy birthday, and took our drink order straight away. The menu is varied, the specials were actually special, and the menu was varied. We had a 1.2kg porterhouse steak which was cooked to perfection, the 2 accompanying sides were delicious and not too large. Between the two of us, it was a perfect sized portion. The toilet facilities were clean and presentable, and easy to find. The tables were clean and well laid out, and the room was comfortably warm. We can't comment on the dessert menu as we didn't have room! However I'm sure they were as impressive as the main meal. The prices were reasonable for the level of service and quality of food, and we left incredibly satisfied. We will definitely be returning again, especially for a special occasion. Overall I would say one of the best eateries in north cornwall, with parking nearby and a beautiful location for a quick stroll around the harbour or onto the beach to get some fresh air and digest our meal.
