I have always told people (all people) that the best restaurant in Inverness is Cafe 1. I will reach my 70th year in a few weeks time and still hold the same opinion. It is not just a place to enjoy good food. It is the whole experience that is first class. Second to none. My wife, Frankie, and I were there for dinner a week ago. Frankie doesn’t do dairy so dessert is often a problem when eating out. Unfortunately the menu had been changed and the solution, a beautiful prosseco jelly with fruit, wasn’t available. 😢. Last night we we’re booked in for dinner with some friends. What was on the specials menu? Prosecco Jelly of course!!
