I had a disappointing dining experience, made worse by poor lighting and uncomfortable seating. The meal began with a few cocktails and appetizers. We tried the meatballs and the eggplant with yogurt. The meatballs were average—nothing memorable—but the eggplant and yogurt dish was a letdown. The eggplant was overcooked, and there was barely any yogurt; I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
The pasta courses were slightly better. The butternut squash pasta was exceptional and truly the highlight of the evening. On the other hand, my spaghetti with porcini mushrooms was overly salty—likely due to the bacon or sauce—and left me needing water after every bite. For dessert, I had the dark chocolate cake Barozzi, which was excellent and a redeeming part of the meal.
As for the atmosphere, while I appreciated the cozy, home-like decor, the lighting was dreadful—it felt like dining in a fog—and the chairs were uncomfortably stiff.
Overall, the meal didn’t meet my expectations, and I’m unlikely to return
