   家族で訪問をさせて頂いた。みんなに喜んでもらいました。料理はもちろん素晴らしかったが、サービスがさらに素晴らしかったと思います。また伺いたいと思います。

   一人で夕食に行きました。テーブル席に案内されましたが、カウンター席にはテレビモニターが3台あって、ゴルフ、MLB、バスケットを放映されていたので、カウンター席に移りました。親切な対応で、料理についても適切な説明があり、味も満足できました。

   サービスのレベルが目を見張るほど素晴らしかったです。小麦アレルギーのアメリカ人の友人に対してキッチンからサーブまで、何気なく最高のおもてなしをしてくれました。おもてなしは日本特有のものではないですね。

   Seafood is top notch. Plates moved quickly and efficiently. Waiter was smart and helpful. I wish there was more than 1 kind of nonalcoholic beer.

   The difference for me from a 4 star to 5 star are that little things matter. We had a very good experience with food and service for the most part. We ordered the fried calamari and found it too salty. The Caesar salad was unusual but good. Maybe trying too hard to make it theirs. Our entrees of scallops and swordfish were amazing. My biggest gripe was our waitress had a lot of new tables while we’re were eating. My first glass of wine was empty before my entrees was served but she asked if I wanted another only after I had 2 bites left of my entree. Having another employee able to check on table more timely when the server is busy with other tables would have helped. Our server was not the issue as it was clear she was constantly moving the room in front of us. As I mentioned little things matter. We will be back and very much enjoyed our meal and experience.

   The 3.8 stars currently given this place is about right. The service, as always, was five star. Five star niceness. This time, though, the food was disappointingly okay.

    My favourite seafood restaurant in Mid Town. I enjoyed the scallop crudo that was simply fantastic ! Followed up with a swordfish dish that I was not confident about that proved to be outstanding (particularly the garlic toast). The warmth of the staff, the quality of the for and the luxe ambience are all a pretty amazing combination. It’s so uplifting to always enjoy a wonderful dining experience at Oceana - every time - since 2005 !
