Situated on Kensington High Street, Papaya Tree is popular with the locals and a must for anyone craving for authentic Thai food. The interior is cool and contemporary, with wooden floors, modern light fittings and a simple white colour scheme – perfect for low-key lunches and dinner with friends. The chefs use only the best ingredients, with fresh herbs and vegetables flown in from Thailand twice a week. Papaya Tree buzzes with the sound of hungry Thai food fans tucking into their modestly priced meals. We look forward to serving you soon in our cosy restaurant.

Food and service e was good but except the ambiance. The odour from the kitchen goes to the dining room.

I had such a delightful time in Papaya Tree. Chilli Aubergine was a perfect addition to what I had; Massaman curry. Thank you !

It was our first time to the Papaya Tree to celebrate a birthday. It is quite hard to find although on the main road! It was an excellent experience. The food was delicious, the service very friendly and attentive. We went for lunch late, so it wasn't too busy. The cost was reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Papaya Tree is a hidden treasure of Kensington. While a little difficult to locate the first time, you won't forget once you have eaten there. Food, service, price, and ambience are all excellent. We will return when back in London!

Delicious food and a lovely tucked away venue. We really enjoyed eating here as we could talk and hear each other! Very good value too.

It was a cold and rainy day, so I wanted to eat somewhere local. I love going to the Papaya Tree because they are always consistently friendly and their food is always good. I know I always end up getting the green curry, but the, Tom, Kha Kai soup and pad Thai is delicious too.

We had a fantastic evening dining at Papaya tree. Such a great, romantic setting. Amazing food (one of the best curries we’ve had). All around fabulous hidden gem!
