   We celebrated a lovely birthday dinner here. Greeted like an old friend at the neighborhood restaurant, it feels comfortable yet the menu can be celebratory. The service was attentive and not rushed...and treated to a birthday dessert! The rockfish was cooked perfectly! I recommend Persimmon!

   We love Persimmon! The service was a little slow last night because the restaurant was very crowded. There were a lot of folks waiting for their tables near where we were sitting and it was loud and crowded. Once they were all seated things worked at little bit more as usual. The food was delicious as usual.

   We consistently get great meals at Persimmon. And the service is terrific--and I mean everyone we come in contact with. The ambiance is simple but it works well. We are so happy that Persimmon is only 10 minutes from our home. It is truly a neighborhood favorite of ours!!

   Persimmon has been one of our favorites for years. The food is always good but we especially like its neighborhood restaurant vibe, which is missing in many other Bethesda restaurants.

   I recently celebrated my birthday at Persimmon in Bethesda with my girlfriends on a Tuesday evening, and it was an unforgettable experience. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was impeccable—we always felt well taken care of. Said, Zaki, and Elmi went above and beyond to make our evening special, adding a personal touch that truly elevated the celebration. Having dined here before, I already knew how amazing the food was, but what impressed me most was how much my friends—who can be quite picky eaters—loved every dish we ordered. The menu offers a fantastic selection, and every choice we made was a hit. From start to finish, everything was flawless, from the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional service and outstanding cuisine.     Have enjoyed dinners there but first time for lunch. It was delicious; but it was so cold in the restaurant that it was uncomfortable. We asked if they could increase the temperature but they didn't.
