The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. The location is beautiful and the service and care are impeccable. The only thing that I did not like from this visit was that another table brought a non-service dog and the dog jumped on the booth and was sitting at the table, sniffing the table/linens/place setting. The server came over and the dog was put under the table, but that gave me, pun intended, pause. Otherwise, the Canadian cup oysters were fantastic as was the pecan pie. Both Thanksgiving options were great value and delicious.

We we are visiting from Kentucky so of course was wanting seafood, but some us were not getting in later in the evening, 8:30 on a Wednesday so not a lot of sit down restaurants were open for a late dinner. We found Docks and it was great! By the water and a lot of food choices! Storm was our bartender and server and did amazing! Unfortunately I didn’t take any food pictures, but we enjoyed everything and drinks!

Amazing staff! Beautiful setting. Cozy and fun for cool fall evening….but I can see all seasons being so perfect here. They had live music that was wonderful. Food and drinks delicious! All the stars. Will definitely be back!

My experience at the Waterfront Hotel was decent. Service was good and attentive. Drinks were good. Food was decent, although I only had a salad and wings. There was a live band. Definitely dive bar vibes. I would go back if in the area.
