Ettore Vino e Cucina is the first restaurant and wine tasting room from Ettore Winery, a boutique organic estate and winery in Mendocino, CA, spearheaded by Italian-born winemaker Ettore Biraghi and Sofia Rivier.In collaboration with Los Angeles' beloved Italian restaurant, Osteria Mamma, Ettore Vino e Cucina brought on Chef Mònica Angelats Coll, a culinary expert with a unique background blending aerospace engineering and fine dining, to lead the kitchen. The menu is inspired by the team’s Italian heritage and will feature signature dishes like Ettore Tagliatelle Ai Funghi, a red wine pasta with mushrooms, kale, pecorino and hazelnuts and Stinco Di Agnello Con Patatine Al Parmigiano, braised lamb shank, fingerling potatoes and parmigiano reggiano. The restaurant showcases a beautifully-curated design of charming vintage pieces that have a story to tell, creating a one-of-a-kind dining atmosphere. The restaurant will be open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm, walk-ins are welcome.

We learned which wines could coax out our dancing shoes on the weekend and which ones were the perfect wind-down to a busy schedule. We learned about grape varietals, flavor profiles, and that back-of-the-nose taste that precedes the perfect sip. So, what’d we do with this love of wine?     Food and service were fantastic. The space is a little tight for some tables especially some of the two seaters, and the valet can be a little awkward if there are already cars waiting. But we loved the food, drinks, and service so we will definitely be back! Would 100% recommend to others.

    Wonderful atmosphere! Most seating is outside, so dress with awareness. The restaurant has a European feel with classic dish ware, modern music, and unique nooks of seating. They are doing all the small things to make for a special experience. Creative French cuisine. Great romantic date night ambiance.

    Our friends came into LAX for an overnight stay. We chose Vicini as our restaurant to have dinner with them. It was incredible! Everything from the food we had to our wines and the Ability to have a nice conversation in the somewhat quiet restaurant was superb. The steak that I had was incredible and perfectly done. The others’ pasta dishes were delicious! It is certainly worth a visit if you are in the area and would like authentic Italian food. The ambience was perfect as well. The only drawback is there is limited parking only on the side streets with a meter or after seven in front of the restaurant on the street.
