Last night Sky was our server and she was beyond great. Some of the small critical issues, while dining, that bug me were tended to and she listened so our service was awesome!! We had 4 different guests and 4 different dinners. Enchiladas, Pesto Pasta, Salmon and Stroganoff. We were all very pleased with our meals. Each couple shared a salad and the portions were surprisingly nicely sized. The grilled pear salad was exceptional and the pears were warm!! Delicious!! We all shared a Butter Cake for desert and was also very suited for the evening. Our friends had Espresso Martinis that they wish they could have had another but also needed to drive home. I enjoyed a Latte and my date had just a cup of coffee which Sky said she brewed a fresh pot of coffee as they had not yet served any!! Good job Sky! I eat Thai food once a week at some great restaurants, but I've never had Thai food elevated to the level it was at SAOLA. We had mussel shooters, papaya shrimp salad, Kobe beef skewers, Peking duck, Thai iced tea, and 2 desserts. Everything was seasoned and spiced delicately. Well thought out menu that they don't just throw heat at to cover quality issues like some Thai places do.
