Established in 2011, Ristorante Daniela serves hand made Sardinian and Italian cuisine. Every detail and part of each recipe served at the restaurant is made from complete scratch, from the pasta and sauces, to the puff pastry and creams in our delicious desserts! We also serve special dinners off menu which can be reserved in advance, ranging from $37 to $45 per person. These special dinners consist of a family style 3 course meal with an abundant amount of tastings for each course with different tastes of cuisines based on meat, seafood/fish, and vegetarian recipes. Besides dining in and carrying out, Daniela is also available to cater your special events such as weddings, graduations, birthdays, etc.

Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews.     We have been many times and yet have never had the wild boar Bolognese. It has been on the menu since the beginning so I don’t know how we keep missing it. Anyway, it was delicious as was the grilled calamari which used to be on the regular menu, but now frequently appears as a special. The Somalia helped us pair an excellent wine with our main course and the service was friendly and prompt as always. Birroteca is one of our favorites.

    LOVED all of the gluten-free options. The culurgiones need a rose sauce; they were a little bland. Also, it was a little treacherous getting in the building. Please put up some more sturdy railings, at least. Very difficult for people with mobility/balance issues.

    food and drinks are always sooo. delicious. i’ve had the mushroom ravioli and the korean shortrib and both 10/10! even the caesar salad was immaculate. it’s a cute spot and helpful service even when i tried a new drink and didn’t like it and sent it back for a different drink.

    Great food! Seating is a little tight, but it was super easy to switch tables, so don't be afraid to ask! Food was amazing, and our waiter was super nice :)! Will definetly be back!
