This tasting room features wines from our estate as well as charcuterie and chocolates to pair. Located on Carmel Valley Road, our Tasting Cottage is conveniently located next to a handful of neighboring tasting rooms and other retail stores in Carmel Valley Village. Albatross Ridge Winery specializes in premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown on our Estate in Carmel Valley not too far from the Cottage. Our vineyard has been recognized by Wine Enthusiast as one of the most Dramatic Vineyards in California.

    Everything was wonderful - food, wine, ambiance, and especially service. One tiny quibble was that they did not dumb the table between dinner and dessert, but maybe they were slightly understaffed that night. Our server was otherwise perfectly attentive and knowledgeable!

    I choose this place due to other reviews saying it’s a very romantic ambiance and they were right, we were seated outside in the back and i looks like every table had a heater which was so nice. For sure recommend the bread service, I will be coming back for sure!

    This place is so aesthetic with mood lighting, high ceiling, and a buzzing atmosphere. Service from Makaela was top notch fantastic on Galentine’s (2/13)! We need more people like her. Cocktails were good. I got the Crimson & Clover (refreshing) and my friend got the spicy Tree of Life. Food was plated beautifully and the only complaint was saltiness for the pasta, pork chop, and mushrooms. We let them know. Flavors were delicious aside from that. They serve complimentary amouse bouche (savory cone with steak tartare & caviar that day), a palate cleanser to sip on (chilled honey citrus liquid), and even mini waffle bowls filled with chocolate ganache. So many nice surprises! We ended the night with sweet, hot n freshly fried loukomades beignets with honey, nuts, and angelaise cream hand poured table side. Excellent experience!
