Parklife is an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar in Gowanus. We offer tacos, tlacoyos and tlayudas inspired by Mexican, Persian and Texan flavors. We feature seasonal cocktails, local beers and small batch spirits. Open all year round, we also host free weekly and monthly events to make your dining experience truly unique. All events are free to attend with a 2-drink minimum purchase to participate.Reservations are available for groups less than 18 people. Walk-ins are welcome pending capacity. Reservations are held for 15 minutes. There is a $10 per person fee if your group cancels with less than 24 hours notice or does not show up. A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Incredible Thai food unlike any other Thai food I have had personally. I had the Chicken Khao Soi noodles which were absolutely incredible. They have a pretty limited vegetarian menu but what they do have is also very very good. The value for the food at a Michelin star restaurant is unparalleled.
