Look, I judge restaurants by the food primarily. So the small things I prefer or don't like about noise, value, or service timing matter, but not that much. Because the food at Terra Plata was really really good. We had one course from each quadrant of the menu (starter, earth, land, sea), and they were all good. We had the albracore crudo (really really good despite finding one pinbone), shishito peppers (normally an afterthought at restaurants - not here, the spices added a lot of depth), and the truffle and mushroom risotto (perfect texture). The land course (portuguese roast pig) was probably the only disappointment because it just wasn't as much of a flavor bomb as we expected from the ingredient's listed and just lacked something special. But it was still quite good, just overshadowed by the other dishes. And finally, the dessert (Basque Cheesecake) was amazing. No store bought pre-made dessert here. Unbelievable texture and the blood orange caramel was perfectly balanced. Tiny notes: the food comes out as it's done, which sometimes leads to awkward timing unless you plan what makes sense to have in what order. The service is good, but the restaurant was busy and you won't have them checking on you often. Not inherently an issue - I would rather have someone bothering me less than more. And we did find a pin bone in the crudo. But overall, it's a place I would recommend to foodies.

Never had a bad meal at Jaks. Wagu cooked to perfection. Loved the potato pancakes and trio dessert of strawberry cheese cake, bread pudding and creme brulee. Great service.

Was annoyed at first that we still had to wait even though we had a reservation and when we learned that our table would have 6 other people that we didn’t know however, the energy of the staff, experience and quality of the food more then made up for it. Typically for a filot Mignon and lobster meal my fiance and I go to Daniel’s broiler but the one here but their to absolute shame. The music there is also loud enough that you can’t hear the other people at the table so it still gives you a sense of privacy with your partner.

We showed up 45 minutes early by accident for a party of 4 dinner on Valentine's evening, and they were able to seat us right away anyway, which was amazing! We loved our waitress Coka, who was wonderful and very attentive! The restaurant was beautiful with pink napkins and white tablecloths and a lovely fireplace. The place was full of laughter and love. The food was beautifully presented and yummy. Cocktails, too! The service staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had plates cleared in time between courses. There was no rush for us to eat and leave. We'll be back and can't wait to enjoy it in the summer as well!

The highest quality restaurant I have been to in many years. Unbelievable in every aspect. Business meetings, celebrations, any event, this is the restaurant to go to
