Sushi Kai prides itself on offering a daily tasting menu, highlighting fresh and seasonal ingredients right in the heart of Fort Lee, NJ. Have a seat at our sushi counter and let our chef’s showcase their passion for a memorable omakase experience.Our Omakase experience is $155/person. This will include a multi course seasonal tasting menu, including appetizers, sashimi, nigiri and dessert. Seating's are strictly 2 hours with seating at the bar only. Please note we do have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations made within that timeframe are subject to a $155.00 per person fee. This is non-refundable & non-negotiable. Please be aware we do allow BYOB of all types of alcohol with no corkage fee.

    I must echo the comments of anyone who calls the alderman a hidden gem. It is truly a little oasis in the hub of Times Square with some of the best food and service I’ve had in a long while.  Everyone we encountered was professional, polite, friendly, relaxed, and service was on point at all times. A special shout out to Hersey at the bar and our server Ethan, who was just tremendous honest and very attentive, to the lovely manager, a young blonde woman whose name I forgot sorry. Had the perfectly prepared salmon and flirt steak entrees from the prix fixe menu plus ALL the other TASTY courses and they were very generous portions, very satisfying and a wonderful value. Cannot recommend this enough if you are going to a show or you just want to have an enjoyable evening dinner lunch or just a coffee from the front barista station. The ambience is warm and tasteful. Like sitting in a garden! Just terrific. You won’t be disappointed.

    We totally enjoyed our early weekday splurge at Altair. The entire staff was warm and gracious from the hostess to the bartender who dazzled us with a fun cocktail creation mixe at the table. The food was spot n from the warm, rich pumpkin brioche, to the perfectly seasoned mushroom ravioli and sea bass. At one point a very large party was being seated with tables being rearranged that was a bit chaotic, but it quickly settled down and we enjoyed the rest of our dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion and its location makes it a perfect pre-theatre dinner.

    If you are debating on where to eat tonight, don’t think twice just book the reservation. My husband and I have been to the top Omakasa restaurants in NYC and this place tops them all. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is calming, and the service is top notch. I swear that you will be talking about your dinner for weeks to come. You won’t regret it.
