We sat at the bar—beautiful ambiance. Great drink offerings and the Bao was both cute AND delicious. Reasonably priced glassware available to buy, which is fun for collectors

Our wait staff seemed in love with what they do, had an infectious brightness. Excellent food and drink recommendations. The ambience in the place is what I'd call very cozy. It's not that big, but bustling everywhere. Still, it's a vibe. Off in the background the bartenders are singing whatever 2000s pop song they're blasting at the moment. It's great carefree energy if you're up for it. Food was delicious and came out in perfect timing. Drink menu was extensive and not at all familiar for I think most Americans -- which I love! Give me something refreshingly different! They even gave us free shots with our check and kindly hoped we enjoyed ourselves and that they'd love to see us again. Restaurants like this deserve your business. When there's care and intent in every aspect of what they do, it's hard to not enjoy yourself. Will most certainly be back!

Great food and overall experience. Place was jumping on a Saturday night but they still seated us on time and the overall service was great.

This was one of my best omakase ever! Each dish was amazing and a few were downright stellar! The dishes with truffle are beautiful and delicious! The sake selection has everything you need.

We had to make a last minute change to our reservation and employees at Shore Leave were very friendly, responsive, and communicative. It's a great spot with a lively atmosphere, and interesting a cocktails. We always make it a point to visit when we are in town.
