Happy Out is adding another string to its bow and taking on the Dublin brunch scene. At the weekend there will be an adventurous brunch menu with a variety of coffees and brewing methods to explore. During the week, we will be giving the people what the want; coffee, toasties and a full breakfast menu.There are seats in the middle around the open kitchen so you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of everything going on. Down the back there is a bright mezzanine area with a skylight and then we have some outdoor table in our lovely sun trap out the back.This brick and mortar style cafe is the love child of one of the owners, Brian. Taking inspiration from his travels around the world and his family kitchen. The breakfast tacos from his trips around Central/South America, The Levain flatbread from his sourdough starter and soufflé pancakes from eating his way around Japan.

Beautiful coffee, toasties and brunch with an incredible view! There are limited indoor seats available to book but we have blankets available for all our outdoor seating to keep you nice and cosy. I went for brunch with 2 of my friends and we all really enjoyed it. It was a bank holiday Monday so it was quite busy which meant at times, service was a little slow and it was hard to get a waiter's attention (but nothing major!) The food was really good, would definitely recommend the pancakes with seasonal fruit. I think it is good value for money too, we were all comfortably full by the time we left. Bonus: it is dog friendly!
