I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.Here, Belli De Nonna, it’s all about food, family, and creating beautiful memories!

An authentic but unique Milano gourmet pizza, a special dough recipe, an innovative pizza-making process, high-quality Italian ingredients, a holistic approach to the food and beverage world, a focus on sustainable agriculture and farming, along with a deep love for Milano, where Andrea, Giacomo, and Luca grew up, and for San Diego, where they studied, worked and became who they are now. These are some of the concepts that make up the Ambrogio15 project. The idea was born in both Milano and San Diego, in the minds and the hearts of three young Italian guys who decided to leave the corporate world to begin a new adventure of passion, friendship, and a bit of foolishness.

    Had a great time on Valentine’s Day like this restaurant way better than any of the ones in Little Italy Tony was our server and he was very attentive personable and had great energy even though it was really busy he always made sure we were taken care of. This is gonna be our new spot we love the food, everything was amazing. We had a perfect Valentine’s Day.

    Great service, really appreciate the staff. This is our regular weekly spot for a reasonably priced high quality pizza & salads in a cool atmosphere. Feels casual but special and authentic at the same time. Even for Valentine’s Day, it was nice normal menu with a few specials, not a bad prefix like many others. Please support to keep this place thriving!!

    Absolutely enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. Everyone was nice, knowledgable, friendly and professional. We were given time to enjoy starting with drinks, our appetizers were fresh, full of flavor and will definitely have them on our next visit. Our main courses were full of flavor, the pizza was delicious, some of the best that I have had in a long time. The pasta was fresh with generous portion ( enough to bring home for lunch). Everything was well presented and full of flavor. Ended the evening with coffee and dessert, left fully satiated and looking forward to our next visit.

    Absolutely incredible experience. This was my second time coming back here and it lived up to the same hype I had experienced the first time. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. What was nice about this time was that I had concerns about being too cold sitting in the patio area during the winter and after expressing my concerns, they reassured me it would be sufficiently warm and proceeded to have a good amount of heating as well as additional blankets and heated water pads given to us for additional heat should we have needed it. I will definitely be coming back again
