Gia is among the first restaurants in Canada to be recognized and recommended by the renowned Michelin Guide. Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Rigatoni Bolognese, White Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti, Eggplant Parmigiana, Squash Risotto and Lion's Mane Steak.Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm, If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Maximum party size is 5 Friday and Saturday, Bar seating available. Please visit our website giarestaurant.ca. Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu.     One of the best restaurants we’ve been to so far! They accommodated our group of 5 + baby so well, giving us lots of space and attention! Happy hour was 5-7, plus 1/2 bottles of wine, which almost felt too good to be true. Our waitress even went through the process of finding a natural wine for us, and the whole experience felt so relaxed and comfortable. Water glasses were always filled, empty plates and cups cleared instantly. The little things really make the biggest difference. It never felt too noisy, but just busy enough to enjoy privacy in our conversation, and general atmospheric noise. We recommend to anyone looking for a special place to take family or friends, this will not disappoint and is worth every cent! Also our highlight was the Short Ribs, even the baby went crazy for them!

    I've been a fan of Bellona since their Jane location opened but it was a bit far for me. So I was thrilled when they announced their new College location. This place is a true gem, offering exceptional food, friendly service, and a welcoming ambiance. Whether you're a plant-based or not, the menu has something for everyone and it is delicious. The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly and always goes the extra mile to ensure a delightful dining experience. I've already visited the College location twice and I will definitely be back. I can confidently recommend Bellona to anyone looking for an amazing meal.
