This evening, I had the privilege of dining at Moon Restaurant in Darlinghurst, Sydney, to surprise my partner for their birthday. It was truly a night to remember, filled with incredible food, impeccable service, and unforgettable surprises. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was flawless. The two lovely ladies and the gentleman at the front greeted us with such warmth, and our waitress made sure every moment felt special. And of course, the chef deserves high praise for creating a menu that was both artistic and astonishing. The food was beyond amazing—every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece that continued to surprise us. One highlight of the evening was the candle trout pâté. At first glance, I thought it was a simple candle, so I asked the waitress to light it for us. To my astonishment, it turned out to be an edible candle, melting into a luscious pâté to spread on bread! What an innovative and delightful twist—it perfectly encapsulated the creativity and artistry of Moon’s cuisine. Each dish is an experience in itself, designed to amaze and delight from the first bite to the last. I highly recommend Moon Restaurant to anyone who loves extraordinary dining experiences. Whether it's a celebration or just a night out, this restaurant delivers magic on every level. Thank you, Moon Restaurant, for a phenomenal evening. We'll be back for sure!

Food and service were good, but there were sooo many kids running around & making a lot of noise we could hardly hear ourselves.

Every time I book online I have trouble getting the time I want or for the numbers I want but when I arrive there is often many unreserved areas that I could have access to …. This is bookings made in advance by 3 or 4 days at least and not Friday to Sunday night ???

Quality contemporary and innovative food. Great value and in the lively buzz of Darling Square.

Pizzas at Lagune Artisan are second to none - crispy crusts, light bases and delicious toppings. Service was great, friendly and quick (but not too quick). Nice buzzy atmosphere and casual vibe. Really enjoyed the evening - will definitely be back.
