Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. This classic supper club boasts live performances every night, from Tuesday through Saturday. Bistro-style cuisine, prepared in the traditional French technique, with ingredients from all over the world, prepared with passion by our Executive Chef, Roshan Vermezyari. Our beautiful main stage is home to "Red Pops" - a gorgeous red Steinway baby grand piano - meticulously maintained. There is a cover charge for performances on all of our stages, except our Piano Bar performances on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5 to 7, which are free of charge.Our 3rd-floor Event Space is available for your next corporate or private event.     It was a lovely meal and great service. It got extremely busy after 10:00, turning into more of a club than a restaurant, but it was lively and good fun for us on our way out.

    Visited on a whim for lunch after years of passing by and thinking to myself that I have to try one day. The burger is imo the best in the city; it demonstrates how simple, quality ingredients make all the difference. The beef Bourguignon tagliatelle was tender, rich and full of flavour. The sweater weather cocktail finished with a fresh marshmallow was warm and comforting and finished our meal perfectly. They also brought out some adorable (and very tasty) warm mini madelines with lemon curd for my grandmas birthday which was so appreciated!

    We had a wonderful meal here after the opera. I had the Icelandic cod and my husband had the braised lamb. Both were excellent. The Hollandaise sauce with mine was light and delicious. The accompanying vegetables with both dishes were not overdone. Even the olive bread was hot and delicious. Don’t know why this great place was not full on a Saturday night. Great value for reasonable price!
