The Old Quay House is uniquely located on the edge of the RSPB Hayle Estuary, with its beautiful views and wildlife to enjoy. We offer a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for couples and families alike. Children are sure to enjoy our large garden with it's fun play area, whilst you sit and enjoy a chilled out drink. We are open daily from 11.30am, serving lunch from 12pm and dinner from 6pm (times may change during busy periods - food not served all day). Our menu includes a great selection of traditional and contemporary English dishes, including pie of the day, fish & chips, as well as several scrumptious fish dishes like seafood kebabs. During lunchtime you can also choose from lighter options like sandwiches and salads.We also have a children's menu to select from, as well as vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. On Sunday's we serve our incredibly popular carvery, as well as a shortened Sunday menu at both lunch and dinner. We look forward to welcoming you

Ugly Butterfly, located in the iconic Carbis Bay, just a mile from St Ives in Cornwall, opened in August 2021. In keeping with Adam’s ethos, there’s a strong focus on sustainability.There’s no such thing as an Ugly Butterfly, in the same way as there’s no such thing as food waste.The restaurant and bar offers a relaxed experience, with surreal surroundings. We are lucky tohave one of the most beautiful views of the Cornish coast, overlooking the ocean so that guests canwatch the dolphins and seals. The sound of the ocean and the innovative utilisation of our localingredients makes guests forget they’re even in the UK.Our afternoon tea experience takes guests on a journey around Cornwall, celebrating thebest of Cornish produce. The tea itself is grown on the Cornish Tregothnan Estate – the first tea fields in the UK.
