On the doorstep of the bustling Borough Market, the first Casa do Frango lies within a converted 19th-century industrial warehouse, a building full of character, complete with vaulted ceilings, arched windows and relics of the past. Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. The menu offers so much more, with small and large plates all designed to share. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. The food is complemented with an all-Portuguese wine list, cocktails, mocktails and Super Bock beer on draught. I absolutely loved this place. Dinner for 4. We tried 8 dishes + dessert (probably could have eaten the same all over again it was so good). Pork cheeks were a stand out dish, but everything was amazing and the plates were clean every time!

Lovely place for lunch around Southwark. Nice view rooftop and a little Mediterranean garden ambience would be perfect for quick brunch with friends in the summer time. While lobster rice was delicious!
