This is the East End's largest Halal steak restaurant bringing you Irish Steak cooked on the infamous Josper Grill. Set within the once industrial area of Stratford, HS & CO is bringing back a piece of history with a touch of suave. The choicest cuts of the Irish beef are cooked and served in our open kitchen. Our steak is dry-aged for three weeks to achieve the highest flavour you can possibly get and cooked to perfection on our Josper Grill. No silly marinades on our steak-- just salt and pepper to enhance the taste of pure beef and cooked on our charcoal Josper Grill.

Located on Brick Lane, close to Shoreditch and Liverpool Street, Bahara Indian Kitchen is elegantly designed and filled with original hand-painted artwork, alongside modern furnishing sourced from India, which take diners on a journey through Indian culture. The traditional Indian menu reflects regional accents whilst maintaining the established traditions of Indian cooking. Our menu goes beyond the typical “Curry” and into a world of real Indian flavours. Our signature dishes include our Salmon Tikka, Barwa Aaloo, Railway lamb shank Nihari and Gajar Halwa spring rolls with malai kulfi.The bar has a great selection of beer and spirits, as well as serving wine and signature house cocktails created to compliment the menu. Bahara's beautifully Pink private dining room is ideal for any event of up to 12 guests.

    If you’re looking for an unforgettable Indian dining experience in London, Bahara in Brick Lane is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by the stunning decor—a perfect blend of elegance and contemporary style, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Now, let’s talk about the food. The starters were nothing short of spectacular—succulent lamb chops, tender paneer tikka, crispy, flavorful masala fries, and unforgettable dahi puri. Each dish was beautifully plated and packed with authentic, aromatic spices. The chutneys served alongside were fresh, vibrant, and the perfect complement to the starters. For the main course, we had butter chicken, garlic naan, and dal makhani, and it was truly divine. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor, while the dal makhani was slow-cooked to perfection, offering a comforting and deeply satisfying taste. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and packed with just the right amount of flavor to scoop up every last bit of those incredible curries. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Overall, Bahara is a hidden gem in Brick Lane, serving some of the best Indian food in London with a beautiful ambiance and outstanding service. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to return!     A relaxed & welcoming restaurant- helpful & cheerful staff, ready when needed, but not at all intrusive. I had the best bbq steak rib ever 👌& my sisters Sirloin was perfect also, and if we are ever back in Stratford, this is where we'll eat. Thank you all at HS&Co, a dream team & perfect food & ambience.

    We tried this out last week Saturday, just had 3 starters to share. The lamb chops slow cooked, fried fish and chickpea and kale all absolutely beautiful We will be back. The lady who served us was very friendly too. Shukria!
