Grow is hidden haven in Hackney Wick with a heated and covered terrace next to the River Lea. The menu is inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on sustainability. Our menu is primarily plant-led but we also offer ethically sourced meat options. The food is of a quality found in almost no other Turkish restaurant in London. Prepared with absolute care and flair with exquisite taste. Intimate atmosphere with very unique decor and really great service. Definitely worth the (nice) walk from Highbury & Islington

We had a lovely meal - tasty , unusual and good value. We chose two Afghani dishes , Chicken in yoghurt and lentil dahl and a shepherds salad. They were all flavoursome , gently spices and cooked to perfection. The ingredients especially of the Shepherds salad were fresh and delicious. They have a good mix of meat and veggie dishes We had a beer and a some glasses of wine all of which were great. We went on a week night, before a gig at EartH next door and service was prompt and helpful even with a full restaurant. The ambiance is warm and friendly - a real oasis on a busy High st. I'd thoroughly recommend a visit to the Zer Middle Eastern Kitchen.
