Bramleys is a family owned restaurant based in Oakwood, North London. Our focus is to use the freshest seasonal produce. Our kitchen works with local suppliers in order to minimise wastage as much as possible, while caring for the environment. Our ultimate goal is to extract as much as we can from every single ingredient while creating this unique, flavoursome menu.The food will be paired with an exclusive wine list as well as some amazing cocktails, mocktails, spirits and drinks in general. Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The interiors are cosy, with contemporary decoration, terracotta warm tones and a groovy musical atmosphere. Goldies features a noteworthy terrace that fits 30 guests.

The Connaught Grill, once one of London’s most celebrated restaurants, has returned to The Connaught giving a respectful nod to its distinguished heritage. Design of the restaurant is led by interior architect John Heah with a strong focus on art and craftsmanship complete with extraordinary signature wall panels, tables and chairs made by Mira Nakashima bespoke for the space.Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the intimate 46-seat Connaught Grill is under the direction of internationally renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. one of my favourite restaurants in london. scrap that, one of my favourite anywhere. if you’re a meat lover it’s the very best of the Argentinian steakhouse experience. when that hot plate comes out with generous, perfectly cooked ‘hunks’ of meat and provolone melting by its side, you can’t help regret any stomach space you’ve wasted in the previous 24 hours. Venue itself has an unpretentious, authentic feel to it, and the staff are always cool, easy going & friendly. just an all round great experience, and very reasonably priced. the only negative - it takes over an hour for me to get there from north west london!
