The interior is stylish but unpretentious with comfortable black leather seating – ideal for a long lunch with friends or a romantic dinner for two. We recommend starting with shared mezze dishes like stuffed vine leaves, batata harrah and homemade hummus or moutabel. Next, order a round of Lebanese beers and move on to hearty mains like the delicious vegetable moussaka, chargrilled chicken skewers, or their signature spiced lamb in a rich, creamy tomato sauce. Aline was created from a desire to share my family’s food traditions. My love for Lebanese food comes from my mother, Aline. A Passionate home cook, famous for gathering her friends and family around her long table placed in the heart of a bucolic garden we call “Le Jardin d’Aline”. Meals have always been a way for her to teach my sisters and I about our Lebanese heritage. In summer we often enjoyed “Siyadiyeh”, a freshly caught sea bass served with a fisherman’s risotto native to Tyre, my mother’s hometown and in winter we would all gather in the kitchen eagerly waiting for the slow cooked lamb for her famous “Fatteh”. Our dishes are a modern take on everyday Lebanese comfort food served in a cozy thirty seat restaurant in Mayfair . Our ingredients are responsibly sourced and prepared with care, with a menu that offers the best of Lebanese food in all its authenticity. We look forward to seeing you soon! Tarek Farah

Great location, lovely table and generally a nice evening. Food was tasty but the portions were small. We asked for bread but it didn't come. We would have left hungry had we not ordered 2 cheese boards and pudding. While eating the front door kept opening of its own accord and we were blasted with cold air. We kept shutting the door but it continued all evening. After our meal we asked to stay for a final drink and the waiter said we could so long as the group in the function room were still eating/drinking. The waiter then changed his mind and told us we could no longer order a drink and he had told the function they we not allowed more wine. An abrupt end to our night and a shame. I don't normally leave a review but I feel I would want to know if I owned Mezzet Dar Tapas.

Wonderful atmosphere and a very warm welcome from all staff. The restaurant has a warm and chilled feel to it and it was comfortable and easy to chat with my fellow diners. The food was excellent; simple and flavoursome and exactly what was needed on a cold wet day. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Middle Eastern cuisine. Will be visiting again!
