She knew we would like to have a round table (that was reserved), but noted that we were next to loud people. She went out of her way to show us two other table options. Loved her attention to customer experience. The food was great - especially the Baked Field Mushrooms and Grilled Goat’s Cheese salad. Artichoke dip got mixed feedback from my guests. Ribeye was also slightly fatty but well-seasoned so my guest was happy. For a table of four two courses with wine and coffees came to around 60 per head. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience!
