Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Most enjoyable afternoon tea. Enough for two people. Our waiter was a bit forgetful. Generally very good. My wife will be taking a friend on Sunday for breakfast. Thank you again for a lovely afternoon.

Although the management of The Bakery has changed, the table settings and service were still a high standard. There was less choice of menu options, but quality was still a good standard. In conclusion, a relaxing evening with friends.
