The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Crispy beer battered fish and specials such as sea bass, turbot and whole lobster, is caught in the morning and delivered fresh to us on the same day.

The Oarsman is a contemporary Bistro and Pub on Spittal Street in Marlow.For lunch and dinner, we serve bistro style, seasonal dishes from the open kitchen and small plates from the charcuterie and larder counter.Seasonal dishes are created by award winning Head Chef Scott Smith. Under Scott's helm The Oarsman is rapidly achieving accolades and recently had won Newcomer of the Year 2023 by Top50Gastropubs by Estrella Damm.We have created an extensive list of fine and rare wines, as well as a wide range of wines by the glass. It might appear a bit bonkers, but that’s half the fun, there are over 300 wines, more than 200 grape varieties from forty plus countries, the quandary is, if we don’t list them, you can’t try them – so let’s be a bit bonkers.All are farmed sustainably, most organically a good deal biodynamically and much with minimal intervention.We have a strong environmental ethos and support local suppliers where possible to serve the finest, seasonal produce.

A quality and relaxing local pub, run by award winning owners, in the beautiful Buckinghamshire village of Iver just a short drive from M4. The building and decor are charming and rustic, with elegant modern touches. Relax by the cozy log burner perfect for winter evenings or enjoy outdoor heated sitting, beer gardens and children play area. A daily menu, meal deals, all freshly prepared in the pub kitchen, includes fresh fish, burgers, salads, chicken, paining, baguettes, wraps, sandwiches and vegan choice food, delicious deserts that melts in your mouth and chef's daily specials with main course, drink and a side all for £15. As all dishes are prepared in the pub kitchen, they are able to cater for most dietary needs, with most sauces, soups and gravy all created gluten free. The Whip and Collar also offers gluten free bread and any other allergy free such as nuts, diary and gluten.

An AA rated pub restaurant first built in the 1930s, The Foresters has a strong local fanbase and is a real favourite for relaxed celebration dining and those special nights out. A beautiful statuesque building with row upon row of immaculately clean windows, well kept plants lining the entrance and, during the summer at least, a good number of parasol shaded terrace tables, The Foresters beautiful exterior leads in to a bright and modern bar and dining room. With the interior bridging the gap between cosy old world and strikingly contemporary gives The Foresters a broad appeal – family friendly but popular with couples of all ages too. Not only highly recommended for its wide selection of beers, real ales and wines but for its regularly changing menu of gastropub style food mostly influenced by traditionally British flavours and local, seasonal produce. A perfect setting for a lingering evening meal and drinks or for a hearty lunch after a bracing walk around the local.

    This is a delightful pub, with good lighting, superb food and great, friendly service. We shared the monkfish Wellington special and it was sublime. It could have done with a tiny bit less salt, but otherwise it was perfection, the flavours of the vermouth, the nicely seasoned pomme purée and the jus went so well together and we felt the concept of a non-beef Wellington was exciting and bold. And it worked!! Paired it with a very nice Chenin blanc. Our antipodean waitress was quirky and charming and service was excellent. We shall definitely be back!

    We visit the Black Horse about once a year as it is a great midway point between us in London and friends from the midlands. The food and service never disappoint. I had the buffalo chicken wings to start which were a great sized portion and lovely and spicy. Between us we had a range of burgers and a couple of kids meals, all were delicious. We look forward as always to our next visit.

    Really good pub food at the Elephant & Castle. Family had a wonderful time and the kids menu was really good value with good portion sizes for 10 year olds. Quiet on a Tuesday as expected, but that only meant the food came quicker which was nice, I was spoilt for choice with excellent pies, but went for the beef short rib which was excellent. Everyone was happy and would happily return.
