Inspired by yakitori izakayas, Big Night is going to be putting seasonal British-ish produce on sticks and cooking it on our charcoal grill. The food will be simple, loud and fun, perfect to be eaten with a beer in hand and friends at your side.The menu will draw on a variety of influences rather than pretending to adhere to the concept of an authentic cuisine (this is not a Japanese restaurant). With respect to traditions, we will be cooking with integrity and creativity with ingredients and flavours that we love and are passionate about, in a way that is innovative rather than traditional, and most importantly, tasty tasty delicious.     It was a very enjoyable evening with delicious Valentine menu. There was plenty of food and the four of us all found something we particularly favoured. It was busy which made for a pleasant atmosphere and not too loud.

    Absolutely exceptional flavors on all dishes seafood and raw, sampled the Valentines menu and was pleased with the freshness of ingredients, intensity and pairings of flavor, and medium portion sizes given the higher end nature of the ingredients. Servers were pleasant, ambiance was gently lit and spacious, and a big shout out to the lobster-with-ikura bisque, the wagyu tartare, the exceptionally green-tangy-tasting hamachi, and the miso black cod maki that was the best bite of the night.

    Great lunch at sticks n sushi. We came here purposefully on a Thursday at lunch time as we have a newborn and a dog, and we had a wonderful time! Staff as always excellent, food was superb with a special menu for valentine's day, and we were seated comfortably so that we had space for the pram and out occasionally crying baby.
