Whether you’re enjoying our signature braised short rib of beef pie, or starting your meal with our delicate smoked salmon starter, every dish is crafted with an emphasis on taste and quality. Our Head Chef Mo ensures that the kitchen consistently delivers exceptional dishes, using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. And, of course, our Sunday Roast is a must-try. Choose from four delicious roasts, each served with all the traditional trimmings. Not to forget, we offer a kids menu with delicious options for our younger guests. We also offer vegetarian and gluten-free options to suit different dietary needs. When it comes to desserts, we have something for everyone. Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. There is a handsome bar menu too, and as always, Sunday roasts are a big fixture on the menu every week.

A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. Whilst a subtle Basque feel will permeate throughout, its roots are firmly founded on those of a classic English pub – so while featuring top end Basque dishes fit for a destination dinner, it also offers simple pub snacks for a light lunch… while the food may be inspired by the Basque country, the ingredients are local… and while the wines may be sourced from Iberia, the beer is very much English.The crowning glory is the sensational open kitchen, with a huge, CHARCOAL FIRED parilla grill and a BRICK OVEN as its centrepiece and all in front of the guests – very visual and very theatrical. Set amongst acres of scenic Berkshire countryside Cantley House is a popular venue for one of the most English of traditions - afternoon tea. Welcome to The Bull Inn, a traditional, long-standing public house on the road between Wokingham and Arborfield.The pub dates back to at least 1728, before which it was a brew-house for Sparks Farm.It has been a Grade II listed building for more than 40 years. The bar area features a lovely inglenook fireplace, and there are etched glass windows from around that time.Originally, it was The Bull Public House and Smithy, and the forge still remains in the restaurant area, although it hasn't been used since around 1979.The pub was named after the Bullock family, who were Lords of Barkham Manor, which is just across the road.These days, The Bull is a well-known landmark and gathering place, and it maintains the charm of a well kept rural country pub, with fine ales, good food, and welcoming service.The menu features authentic Thai cuisine as well as classic British pub food.The pleasant garden area to the rear is a perfect place to while away summer afternoons and evenings.
