A great pit stop for those walking the north Norfolk coastal path Marlings is just 500 metres from the route plus we have a beautiful nature trail to enjoy before or after your meal with us.Please note if you book at 6pm on Mon-Weds, we close at 7pm.Sunday Carvery is served 12-4pm every Sunday. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques.     Brilliant service from delightful waiting team and the food was outstanding Beef carpaccio with all the trimming and sautéed scallops with a delightful light curry sauce made a perfect starter And we had Brancaster mussels for our main course in a white wine sauce . Big fat and juicy with chunky chips crisp outside and fluffy inside. Not forgetting a flowery gooseberry Sauvignon from NZ. Perfection And the classic lemon tart to conclude We have to return!

    The service was polite, friendly and professional as always. My friend and I had a pot of tea each. I enjoyed cheese scones with a delicious apple chutney and wedge of chesse. My friend had an enormous slice of carrot cake which she delcared moist and extremely tasty. The general ambience and decor is wonderful, esepcially beautiful with all the Christmas decorations. The Assembly House Hotel recently catered for a gathering to celebrate my late mother's life. Again the service and attention to detail was just wonderful. The food was delicious and we were extremely well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend The Assembly House for any occasion. You will not be disappointed.

    Lovely experience from start to finish. Service attentive but not intrusive, food outstandingly good. Lots of small but enjoyable touches brought everything together beautifully. Not the cheapest around, but overall excellent value for money. Cannot commend staff or food highly enough.
