We stay true to Italy's culinary standards to retain the natural freshness and flavors of our dishes, which makes us one of the ONLY restaurants in the US to never incorporate artificial flavorings, colorings, or preservatives, nor do we use corn syrups in any of our beverages. We take pride in guaranteeing that none of our offerings contain GMO fruits, vegetables, or processed seed oils. Our olive oil, frying oil, flour, and sauce are all imported from Italy, while our meat, seafood and produce are sourced locally. We strive to replicate the culinary experiences that we find when we visit the Amalfi Coast. Our hometown, Vico Equense, is referred to as the “Gateway to the Amalfi Coast” and the "Food Capital of Italy". Directly across from Monte Vesuvio, Vico is rich with the same soil as the San Marzano area. We aim to share the cherished memories cooking with Nonna. A little history on our namesake: The Linwood Hotel: John B. Pullis established the Linwood Hotel in about 1888. Located on the Southeast corner of South Clinton Avenue and Linden Place, the Linwood Hotel temporarily housed WW1 Navy flyers from the Bay Shore Aero Station while their barracks were being constructed. The Linwood was destroyed by fire on October 11, 1925.

    Had such a wonderful meal and drinks. Sat at the bar and ordered the mussels, crab cake, and the chicken pasta dish. Dessert was olive oil cake w blueberries it was so delicious too. We took a meatball pizza to go and my sons loved it. Bartender was fabulous. loved the place Not noisy and beautiful ambiance.

    I took my wife there for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was unbelievable. Our waiter David was such a pleasure to chat with. He was professional, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. The food from start to finish was exceptional. We started out with a margarita flatbread pizza with Barata on top Then I had the Parmesan vodka chicken with spicy rigatoni and my wife had the roasted chicken with vegetables. For dessert, we shared the tartufo.. The overall dining experience was such a pleasure. We will be going back many times over. If you have the chance to visit this exquisite restaurant, please do.

    What a pleasant surprise. We went for the music and were pleasantly surprised by the food. Everything was fresh and delicious. The only thing better was the service. A young gentleman was our waiter and he went above and beyond throughtot the meal. We will definitely go back
