Pietramala is a little restaurant located in Northern Liberties celebrating plants, wood-fire cooking and seasonality. We offer a small, regularly changing menu based on the highest quality, organic ingredients grown or made with care in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic. Our Italian leaning, but globally inspired food is always presented simply with familiar flavors achieved in creative new ways. Often touched by fire, smoke or fermentation to unlock unique flavors, our dishes sometimes require days or even months of preparation. We pride ourselves on our open kitchen, where our wood-fired hearth takes center stage, and our commitment to friendly service and warm hospitality in an intimate, but lively atmosphere. The Black Cat Café is owned and run by PALS, a nonprofit animal rescue organization. Although every dime we make goes directly to the 600 homeless animals we save every year, we also know that our café succeeds because it is an awesome place to eat. Styled around the cafes of the South of France, our menu is eclectic and ever changing with many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options in addition to our regular menu. We have won Best of the Main Line 3 times. Chef Judy Clemens puts out a breakfast, lunch and brunch that cannot be beat and all profits go to saving lives. And don’t miss our gift shop, featuring home goods and more featuring pets.

Hello, we are Sansom Kabob House. A local Afghan restaurant bringing authentic Afghan cuisine from the core of Afghanistan. We originally opened on October 2nd, 2002. We were on 1526 Sansom St. for 14 years and then moved to 1300 South St. We create gourmet Afghan food that you can find in Afghanistan or here at our Philadelphia location. We have mouthwatering flavors starting from our bread to our kabobs. Our bread's recipe and technique have been passed down from the founder's great-great-grandfather, who owned an array of bakeries and managed many restaurants in Kabul. Passed through generations to our chef, who brought delicious meals to 15th and Sansom of Philadelphia. Then from 15th and Sansom to 1300 South St. We have delectable food that you fall in love with and will bring comfort to you, from our meat lovers to our vegans. We do reservations, groups, take-out, delivery, catering, waiter service, and maintain a great family environment.

    I didn’t know vegetables could taste so damn good. Seriously I am a big-time meat eater I was concerned that after this meal, I’d have to run to McDonald’s to get a hamburger. But in actuality, it was absolutely delicious and completely filled me up.

    This place was wonderful. We had a sweet valentines day dinner. The decor was so beautiful. The musis was Great. We ordered 4 dishes to sharr and a brownie dessert. Everything was delicious! Vegan restaurants habe grown and thos one SHINES! Lots of cozy places to enjoy the decor. I want wait to go again and sit in the front on the couch as people stroll by. Im trying the bread pudding dessert next and 4 new dishes. The chefs know flavors. The curry carrots?!??! Mushroom sliders!!! PESTO gnocci...as a vegan i havent had pesto in a while! Im trying the flatbread and edemamr wontons next
