I took my wife for Valentine’s Day from start to finish the experience was superb. The ambiance set the tone for the night and did not disappoint The wait staff was very attentive to our needs and made sure that we were pleased with each course. The food was delicious will recommend this establishment to all my friends and family

From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, it was an incredible experience. Staff was very welcoming and obliging to our request. Out server, Aiden had actually served us at another restaurant so we were pleasantly surprised to see him at Downtown Kitchen. Extremely personable young man with an incredible memory for Detail. First, thank you to the whole staff - the ladies up front, the bartenders, the servers and bussers cleaning and clearing the tables. Everyone made our Valentine's Dinner awesome. The Fig bourbon is delicious. Trevor was a great waiter and was responsive to our table. 1st course - beef tartare for me and jumbo shrimp for my wife were great. 2nd course - she crab soup and the duck confit spinach salad were very tasty. Entrees - Salmon Oscar cooked beautifully as was my wife's broiled seafood platter. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and tasty. Dessert - the warm butter cake was delicious. Thank you again.

My wife and I have been going to Rumi's at Avalon for years. The food is always AMAZING and the staff very courteous, friendly, and responsive. We have never had a bad experience and no matter what dish we try, it is SO flavorful. If you like Persian/Mediterranean food, you have to go to Rumi's!

If I could give this restaurant a 10 star review I would. I’m almost upset I never tried it sooner. Food was great. Drinks were good. The ambience with live music was fantastic. But the icing on the cake and definitely a game changer was the attentiveness and energy of our server Eddie. Speechless!!!. I’ve traveled many places and I can’t say I’ve had service this spectacular. When I come back it’ll def be with the request of Eddie as my server. Great job Hals! The bar is high!
