Awesome date night for valentines. Was disappointed at only one thing. The 5 course tasting menu we booked was canceled and instead it was a 3 course with an optional 4th for extra money. Ben our server was fantastic and the food was great. Its was an amazing experience for high end dinning in Ottawa.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Beckta From start to finish, our experience at Beckta was nothing short of amazing. The service was impeccable—though we unfortunately forgot the name of our waitress, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout the evening. We opted for the menu dégustation, and every course was a masterpiece. The flavors were expertly balanced, the ingredients fresh and thoughtfully chosen, and each plate was presented beautifully, showcasing the culinary artistry that makes Beckta stand out. A true highlight of the meal was the blue cheese dessert—an absolute wow factor! It was a bold yet perfectly executed creation by the pastry chef, demonstrating incredible skill and thoughtfulness in its composition. Beyond the food, the ambiance was intimate and inviting, striking the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. It’s clear that Beckta is committed to delivering not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for a top-tier restaurant in Ottawa, Beckta is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!

A great combo of taste, coziness, great atmosphere, and trying something unusual. It felt both trendy and timeless. Enjoyed my visit very much.

Gezellig was outstanding on this Valentine's Day lunch. It was busy as one would expect on Valentine's Day, but the hostess and serving staff and kitchen were up to the challenge. I love the two features to choose from option for lunch. They change the offerings from time to time. The Radicchio Salad and Ricotta Gnudi were great and my friend had the Artisanal cheeses which were also great. The sun was streaming in the windows. Service was excellent. It was a treat.

Everything was excellent. My vodka negroni was one of the best. My wife's gluten-free options were addressed to her great satisfaction. The octopus was grilled to perfection and fabulous never-heard-of veggies. Would be proud to bring my Montreal frieds to Fauna anytime.
