Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea.     Boatshed La Perouse has always been our favorite dining spot, and it did not disappoint during our Christmas lunch yesterday. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The ambiance set a perfect mood with its inviting atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious—everything we hoped for and more. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service. A young, charming gentleman named Prince took care of us, and I can’t express enough how attentive, friendly, and professional he was. His service was beyond excellent and made our meal even more special. Boatshed La Perouse is a true gem, and thanks to Prince’s impeccable hospitality, we left feeling truly valued and content.     We ordered 3 dishes to start with but it took like 40mins to come out. Also the waiter served wrong dish and we waited like another 30mins. He didnt apologise or anything. The vibe, food and drinks were good! Will come back if better service is guaranteed.

    The food quality, the environment, and the service are very good. The price is reasonable for the quality of food. The down side is the one hour time limit on ordering food and 1.5 hours staying limit. It is quite rush for gathering with friend. Overall is good.
