Located on the charming town’s busy High Street, the newly-renovated Piccolino restaurant, guests will dine in the most divine setting. Boasting glamorous wood panelling, diamond cut mirrors, a spacious marble-topped bar area, and greenery throughout the main restaurant guests can relax watching the chefs in action in the open kitchen. With an exclusive menu taking guests on a journey of taste using the finest ingredients across Italy, guests can experience fish expertly filleted tableside, Fassona beef sourced from Piedmont in North West Italy and authentic Italian pasta dishes like the Carbonara Grande, prepared at the table from a giant pecorino cheese wheel. Welcome to Riwaz Beaconsfield.It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others. The menu of creatively enticing flavours and spices includes dishes created and cooked by Atul’s grandmother. Lunch will showcase our set 2 and 3 course menu plus the Jugalbandi set menu of four courses for two to share (£35pp). For a time-honoured experience, the evening A La Carte menu offers characteristic main courses complemented by a great selection of wines, cocktails and customary Indian drinks. A gourmet 7-course Tasting Menu (£65 pp) will be available in the early evenings (Sunday to Thursday). All of this customary deliciousness pays homage Atul’s Indian upbringing and the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengali, Orissa, and other regions.

    Fantastic food and so different from your average Indian restaurant! Vegetarian and fish focus, but has vegan, chicken and lamb too but don’t expect to order much you have heard of before if you are heathen like me !! But every item was unexpected but delicious- portions small to medium so at 4 dishes per couple for main and we shared 2 starters and it was £75 with a beer so not silly but maybe £10-£20 more than an average Indian but this isn’t average! Weakness is it is in a housing estate in little chalfont in a parade of 3-4 shops and with very limited parking out front or at the back so may have to park 100 yards away!

    We both had poppadoms and the Radhuni lamb. This was delicious - succulent lamb plus minced lamb on top. It was very flavoursome and hot but not crazy hot. We enjoyed the meal very much and will be returning!

    We went to The Bank for Valentine’s Day and had a lovely evening. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and looked after us really beautifully. The cocktails were great - I can thoroughly recommend the Chai Espresso Martini. The food was really delicious and interesting and we had two delicious little complimentary courses - a mango shot and a fudge like chocolate treat. The restaurant itself is very stylishly designed. We will definitely be going again. Amazing to have somewhere so good on our doorstep!
