A family owned boutique bar located in Wentworth Point as part of the Marina Square complex. A large list of great tasting signature and classic cocktails. The Dancing Bear is also managed by Kristine Tarabine who has cracked the Top 100 Australian bartenders competing in Diageo's world class competition. Just a few popular cocktails include the "Smoked Old Fashioned", "White Passion Martini" and our best seller the "Yuzu Sour". All with their own quirks and experience. Bougee bar food like Butter Chicken Jaffel, Lamb Kafta Jaffel, Mexicana dip with Chicharron and Salmon lettuce cups.As we are so close to Olympic park there is many easy access options. Bus routes, train lines and the ferry at our doorstep.We focus on great customer service and don't take ourselves to seriously. Every Saturday you can find live music going. That’s why we named the restaurant “Ichoume” (Choume is used for addresses in Japan. Frank Mac's. Gin & Cocktail Bar The original 1840s sandstone walls of the building Frank Mac’s now occupies a 120-person capacity bar which flows from outdoor seating on George Street, across two levels and into a back courtyard. Whereas the downstairs space feels cosy and intimate, dotted with vintage leather banquettes, dark jade and light orange velvet armchairs, low tables and a fireplace, the ground level you’ll walk into off George Street will reflect the energy of the bartenders working behind the almost five-metre-long oak bar. A handful of bar stools provide the perfect vantage point to take in the cocktail mixology while the dark velvet curtains, worn leather banquette seats and cosy fireplace of the ‘Snug’ provides groups of up to eight with a private space to retreat and relax.
