Don Cheech is an Italian American Restaurant created by Executive Chef Massimo Felici. He got inspired by his old neighborhood, the old school NYC Little Italy (Mulberry Street) Cuisine where exceptionally well-prepared food was served in an elegant comfortable setting. The Food resembles that same history, Chef Massimo Felici takes his culinary expertise and apply it to this new venture taking cues from the great talents and techniques of the present and the future. Traditional dishes like Stuffed Long Hots, Seafood salad, Linguine Vongola, Chicken Parmigiana and Scarpariello and Steak Diane, elevated to a new level. Elegant Tablecloth settings, burgundy booths, Chandeliers and mirrors a large bar and a glass wine room gives Don Cheech that Old School-Elegant atmosphere.

Campania Coal Fired Pizza specializes in exactly what its name implies: delicious pizza cooked in a coal oven to produce a unique smoky texture to the crust and toppings. This special method of cooking pizza imparts certain flavors that simply can't be replicated by using a wood burning stove or other method of heating. Diners simply need to taste for themselves the difference Campania's incredibly hot coal-fired grill makes Campania's pizza menu comes with a build-your-own pizza option as well as several signature house recipes. Some of the delicious pizzas diners can try out are the Margherita, Buffalo Chicken and the Calabrese with tomato sauce, hot soppressata, mozzarella, pecorino romano and basil. Il Colosseo is an Italian restaurant that is a local favorite. The dining room here is small and intimate, which adds to the homey atmosphere the eatery provides. At the back of the dining room, Il Colosseo has an open kitchen where guests can watch as the talented kitchen staff prepares the food. The kitchen is dominated by a giant brick oven where the staff cooks up all of its incredible pizzas.Il Colosseo begins its menu with antipasti like fried calamari for two, baked clams, sautéed octopus, sautéed broccoli rabe and a pasta e fagioli soup with white kidney beans and fusilli noodles in a light tomato broth. Some of the various entrées diners can sample are a chicken Francese, spicy shrimp fra diavolo, veal piccata, pasta bolognese and the Frank Sinatra pasta made with black olives, clams, mussels and shrimp in a garlic and white wine sauce.

    We came to Don Cheech for the first time as new Staten Islanders who tend to gravitate towards Brooklyn celebrating a very momentous occasion in our life (being cancer free!), and everything from the food to the service did not disappoint. Stephanie is an actual gem - I called prior to our reservation to ask for a dessert request with writing, and she was so gracious and heartfelt over why we were celebrating over dinner. She connected with us the whole time, checked up on how we were doing constantly, all while chef Massimo prepared for us the most amazing meal. The ambiance was fantastic - a quiet Thursday night with a great week day special if you’re looking for that - it was the best all around. We can’t wait to be regulars here!!!

    That was a busiest Saturday night I have ever seen. Barely made reservation for 5 people, but table was ready when we arrived. Service was wonderful and the food excellent ! Red sangria is boosey and tasty . Worth every penny. When we were leaving there was a line to get in on the street.
