Lovely food, wonderful staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere. I grew up in the area when the star pub was the community centre, with the lovely refurb they did a couple years I can see it being that again with the added bonus of it now a quality bistro/gastro pub!

Fantastic evening - the food was outstanding, it was so cosy on a cold night and felt like a real treat.

Dining with girl friends on a Wednesday night so not busy. Excellent food. Great service but not too intrusive. I had three courses and finished them all which I never normally do. I'd recommend it for small or large groups. We will definitely be going back.

This pub always has a lovely ambiance and consistently serves great food. The staff are always friendly and provide good service.

I booked lunch pre rugby test match. The venue was very busy, but in a good way. It was incredible how the staff seamlessly handled a venue full of excited rugby fans. Steak was perfect, sides were tasty and sommelier’s wine recommendation spot on. Service was friendly, efficient and professional. I will certainly be returning.
